I Don't Want An Abortion
|
I am 16 and pregnant. My parents want me to have an abortion, and "save my future". I want to keep my baby, but if I do, they say that they are going to kick me out. Who can I turn to for help? How do I find resources in my area?

Thursday 18th of February 2010 04:25:12 PM Contact your social worker and your midwife who can put you in touch with the correct organisations. It is imperative that you do this as soon as possible. No one should force you into any decision that you will live to regret. At the end of the day, your baby is their grandchild. Lots of women have children and then go back to college once the children are older. Your advantage is that time is on your side because you are young.

Wednesday 24th of February 2010 04:01:49 PM there isn't someone where you can go? another relatives or the parents of your partner, the father of your kid?
I mean you don't need to go through this by yourself.your parents should be more flexible.I know this pregnancy will affect whole of your life, will turn your life upside down, but now the thing is done so that's it!
You need also to look for local institution which provide wealth fair , of child or women with child

Sunday 28th of February 2010 03:01:04 AM This is a very difficult phase of your life. You are too young to be pregnant. But now that you are,its up to you to decide whats good and whats bad for you.Is your partner who is responsible willing to support you n raise the baby at any cost?If he is willing then both of you talk it out with your parents, otherwise its better to go for an abortion, because its very difficult to raise a child without good financial and moral support and at this age you are too young to be a mother.Think practically and make a good decision

Sunday 28th of February 2010 06:17:36 AM I understand the position of your parents but do not say they are right. In my opinion shouldst go to social security or any government agency such as the health center and explain your situation. Today there own associations to help young mothers like you and these bodies have all the contacts you can to help. Good luck.

Thursday 4th of March 2010 03:59:34 AM Honestly i should say you decided well. Check you local registrar for the location of any house for unwed mothers and they will surely help you. If not go to local churches there, am sure they know of one that will help you. IN the meantime, be responsible and think about the your future and your baby's future.
