Is It Too Soon To Get Pregnant Again?

My son is 5 months old and my husband and I want to have another child right away. We are both in our late 30's and we want to complete our family before our age becomes any more of a factor. Is my body ready to have another child yet?

Actually, I believe you don't have to add another baby in the family just yet. It is because your baby is still too young. Your baby needs all the love and care he deserves as long as he is still in the baby stage. Normally, couples follow up their child after at least a year. Give your baby the time with you that he deserves because surely, once the other baby arrives, your attention will be divided and most probably you tend to focus on the youngest one. This could lead to sibling rivalry in the future. And of course you wouldn't want to cause much stress on all of you, right? Besides, if a baby is really destined for you and your husband, it will happen. Just be ready for the consequences of having it earlier.

Yes it is too early to have a baby. Minimum there should be a gap of 2 years between babies. Just now only you have got a bay and he is just 5 months old. since you have given birth now your body has to come to normal as before. So I suggest that after 2 years you can have another baby. It would be very difficult if you get pregnent once again because looking 2 babies at a time will be difficult to breast feed and everything
