As long as your work does not involve much physical labor, its okay to continue working. The doctor is right. Pay attention to your body and rest when things get uncomfortable. Prolonged sitting can cause cramps..make sure you take regular breaks between your work hours. IF you listen to your body, you will know when to stop..

This really depends on the type of work you do. If it is labor intensive, you may wish to discontinue working at an earlier stage of your pregnancy, but if it is just normal work, there is no reason for you to stop. As long as your doctor is happy, and the work requires no heavy lifting or similar activities, you will be fine. Some women work right up till their day of delivery. It really depends mostly on the individual, pregnancy complications and your doctor's advice. Reassure your husband that you are fine, and that it is normal to work during pregnancy. It sounds like he is only concerned for you, which is a good thing!

Honestly being physically active and continuing your work will do no harm unless you really get stressed. Your body will tell you otherwise anyway. If you feel good while your working then it means it's healthy for you and your baby but if your starting to feel ill then that means you should take a break from work.Bottom line is 'doctor knows best'

It is a good thing your husband is concerned. However, as long as your doctor is aware of the type of work you do I am sure he has given you the right advice. If you are getting too stressed about work and your growing baby and it is all becoming too much than talk to your doctor again and see how to go from there. Tip: make sure your husband is with you when discussing these type of arrangements so he understands fully the doctors point of view.

A lot depends on the kind of work you do. You should not be handling heavy stuff, walking around too much or handling chemicals which could prove to be harmful to the baby. Being in a job which makes you keep odd hours will also not help. If it is a 9 to 5 desk job you can continu till the end of the term. However, make sure that you get up and walk around often and do not keep sitting in one place. Flying jobs are also not safe for the baby.

it depends what is the work you are doing. If really tired you or if you work with some toxic substances it is better not to work anymore, but if you are relaxed and feel ok after working hoours it is better to work.It is healthy to keep you bussy and in working phase.for your mind too! keep it up!

You don’t have any complications, doctor gave you the green light and therefore it’s not a problem at all. Your husband is just being protective and that’s so sweet of him. Unless your current work is something along the line of being exposed to radiation i.e. x-rays. But you see, there are times especially if you’re used to working and suddenly you stopped, tendency is you easily get bored and irritated. In your condition, that is being pregnant, one slight problem or situation may change your mood feelings and it may not be good for the baby. Sometimes pregnant woman need something to do aside from taking care of what’s inside her. Or if your husband really insists that you stop working, then so be it, find other things to do while inside the house. Make yourself busy!
